Video and film library
The Realtek RTD1619BPD quad-core 64-bit processor is paired with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. The player has 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, 32 GB of internal eMMC storage and the Android 11 operating system.
The HDMI output delivers video at up to 4K 60p with 12-bit YCbCr 4:4:4 colour in the BT.2020 colour space. HDR10, HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are supported. Two Dolby Vision modes are available: player-led LLDV and TV-led Standard mode.
The built-in VS10 video-processing engine handles image conversion. HDR10 processing uses MaxFALL and MaxCLL static metadata. Automatic frame-rate and output-resolution switching reduces the need to adjust output settings manually when moving between different material.
Full BD, BD3D and UHD Blu-ray menus are supported, along with complex MPLS structures and seamless branching for multi-segment titles. MVC 3D can be played from Blu-ray and MKV sources.
Home Theater 4.0 presents films on a poster wall. You can create custom categories, manage the collection, and play trailers and soundtracks. The player supports graphical subtitles, forced Blu-ray and MKV subtitles, and subtitle downloading.
Music playback and audio
Supported music formats include DSD through SACD ISO, DSF and DFF files, as well as WAV, APE and DTS. Personal settings and track-information matching are provided, while DLNA enables music playback over the network.
HDMI supports audio passthrough without changing the original format, including Dolby TrueHD. Internal LPCM decoding is limited to two channels. For multichannel sound, passthrough to a compatible AV receiver or processor is the appropriate option.
Connections and control
Network connectivity includes a Gigabit RJ-45 port, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with two external antennas and Bluetooth 5.2.
One USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports are available. Network sources can be accessed using NFS, SMB v1/v2/v3, UPnP and WebDAV, and the player can also operate as an SMB server.
An RCA L/R output is provided for an analogue stereo system, while RCA CVBS can be used with older video equipment. Digital audio is available through a coaxial output. The aluminium-alloy chassis has a large front LED display. Position the player so that neither the display nor the IR receiver is obstructed, and leave sufficient space for the connections and two external antennas.
The package includes a remote control, a 12 V power adapter and a user manual. An HDMI cable is not included.

How should I connect the player to a home cinema system?
