Metal construction and support principle
Each spike is machined from a single piece of solid metal and finished with chrome plating. The sharp point faces downward and rests in one of the supplied floor-protection discs. Each protective disc is also machined from solid material.
The metal point therefore does not rest directly on the supporting surface. Instead, it sits in its dedicated protective disc. An EVA felt pad is placed beneath the disc to create an additional contact layer. Each complete support point consists of one felt pad, one protective disc and one spike.
Two installation methods
Through-bolt mounting provides a permanent way to attach each spike to the base of a loudspeaker or electronic component. This method requires separately selected screws, as mounting screws are not included in the set. Select the screw length and diameter to suit both the mounting hole and the construction of the equipment base.
Freestanding installation without screws allows the spikes to be used as loose supports. This option does not require any modification to the base of the product. Centre every spike point over its protective disc. Once the equipment has been positioned, check that it stands securely without rocking.
Positioning and initial adjustment
Distribute the support points beneath the base so that the product remains stable. Place the protective discs on a clean, level surface that is suitable for the load. Lower the spike points into the discs, then check that every support point is making proper contact.
