Pioneer FH-X730BT is a 2 DIN in-car CD receiver designed for a flexible car audio system. Three pairs of RCA pre-outs allow separate connection of the front, rear and subwoofer channels. Pioneer FH-X730BT is a 2 DIN in-car CD receiver that plays music from discs and USB storage devices and also features radio and Bluetooth connectivity. It is suitable for a system with external amplifiers or a subwoofer, supported by three separate pairs of RCA pre-outs.
Audio System Connections
RCA pre-outs are provided for the front, rear and subwoofer channels. This arrangement allows the corresponding channels of external amplifiers to be connected separately.
The USB input is intended for playing audio files from a storage device. A front auxiliary input accepts an analogue signal from other music devices. Bluetooth supports audio streaming and hands-free calls.
A wired remote-control input allows a suitable control solution to be connected. The CD-SR110 infrared remote control is an optional accessory and is not included.
Sound Adjustment
The 13-band graphic equaliser lets you adjust different frequency ranges. Source Level Adjuster helps reduce changes in volume when switching between audio sources.
Manual time alignment compensates for unequal distances between the listener and the vehicle’s speakers.
The three-way active network mode is designed for a more actively controlled system with separate frequency ranges. High-pass and low-pass filters help distribute the reproduced frequency range.
Advanced Sound Retriever and its Air version are intended for compressed audio playback. Digital Direct and Direct Sub Drive functions are also supported.
Music Sources and Radio
The CD mechanism plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs. MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC files can be played from these discs. USB storage devices additionally support FLAC.
The RDS FM/AM tuner provides 24 station presets. PTY search helps you select a programme type. BSM stores the strongest stations, while traffic announcements provide relevant information for the road.
The radio also offers automatic alternative-frequency search and automatic or manual tuning. CD functions include random playback, last-position memory, CD Text and MP3 tag display.
Display and Illumination
The wide-viewing-angle VA LCD has a 1.5-line dot-matrix display. It can show Cyrillic characters.
Zone-controlled RGB illumination provides a choice of 210,000 colours. Illumination effects, a light line, a timer and ten-step brightness control are included.
Installation in the Vehicle
The receiver requires a 2 DIN dashboard opening. If the factory opening is different, vehicle-specific installation parts may be required.
Install the supplied Bluetooth microphone close to the direction of the driver’s voice.
Connected Device Functions
This model supports Android AOA 2.0. The phone must support the same protocol. Features include a permanent connection for two phones, automatic phonebook transfer and voice recognition.
Other Bluetooth capabilities include wideband speech for calls and wireless music browsing. The Music Browser function also helps organise and navigate a music collection.
The receiver was designed with Made for iPod, direct iPod and iPhone control, and App Mode functions. Spotify and Advanced Remote Control App solutions were also provided. Operation with current phones, applications or services is not guaranteed.

Can FLAC files be played from a CD?
No. FLAC playback is available via USB. Discs support MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC files.
What does the 50 W × 4 power rating mean?
It is the maximum MOSFET power rating, not a stated continuous RMS power rating. These two measurement methods should not be compared directly.
Do I need to purchase the microphone separately?
No. The Bluetooth microphone for hands-free calls is included.
Is a remote control included?
No. The compatible CD-SR110 infrared remote control is an optional accessory.
Will it work with current phone apps?
Compatibility of the older Spotify, App Mode and Advanced Remote Control App functions with current phones and applications is not guaranteed. It depends on the phone and its software.
