Driver and amplifier
The 12-inch bass driver uses a cone made from impregnated and reinforced cellulose fibre. Its long-throw design allows the cone to move more air when deep bass is present in a recording or soundtrack.
The integrated amplifier supplies the driver with up to 500 W RMS of power. As a result, the subwoofer does not require a separate power-amplifier channel. It operates as a self-powered low-frequency section within the audio system.
Three playback modes
The digital signal processing (DSP) modes change the priorities of the bass reproduction. Music mode is intended for balanced performance and accurate integration with the main speakers. In this mode, the stated low-frequency extension reaches 26 Hz with a ±6 dB tolerance.
Movie mode adds greater impact to film soundtracks. It is a useful choice when a more pronounced sense of effects and sudden low-frequency transients is important.
Impact mode gives priority to greater maximum output and punch. This comes at the expense of some reproduction at the deepest frequencies. The mode suits energetic music when sound pressure is more important than reaching the lowest possible frequency limit.
Connecting it to an audio system

If the response becomes uneven, move the cabinet farther away from the wall and listen again from the usual seating position.
