Zidoo Z2000 Pro is a 4K network media player designed for a home film and music library. Android 11 runs on a 64-bit quad-core Realtek RTD1619BPD processor with ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The Mali-G57 graphics processor is paired with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 32 GB of eMMC internal storage.
Picture and sound
The HDMI output carries video up to 4K 60p, with a 12-bit signal, BT.2020 colour space and YCbCr 4:4:4 sampling. Supported HDR formats include HDR10, HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
HDR10 processing uses MaxFALL and MaxCLL static metadata, while HDR10+ parameters can change for each frame or scene. The VS10 engine can adapt content output for Dolby Vision presentation.
Frame rate and output resolution can switch automatically. Video decoding includes HEVC/H.265 at up to 4K 60p with 12-bit HDR.
Dolby TrueHD audio is passed through unchanged, so decoding must be handled by a compatible AV receiver or another audio device. A two-channel LPCM signal is available for stereo output.
Film and music storage
One NSS-design SATA bay accepts a 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of up to 16 TB. The same limit applies to supported SATA and USB storage, although compatible file systems and drive-format requirements are not specified. A hard drive is not included. The player has one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports.
An external optical drive can be used to play CDs and unencrypted Blu-ray discs. The player supports BD, BD3D and UHD menus, complex MPLS structures and seamless switching between alternative film segments. MVC 3D content can be played from Blu-ray and MKV sources.

The analogue RCA L/R output is intended for two-channel audio. The coaxial digital output carries a 2.0- or 5.1-channel signal. Another digital S/PDIF output, whose connector type is not specified, also supports 2.0 or 5.1 channels.

Subtitle functions include support for forced Blu-ray and MKV subtitles. Online subtitle downloading depends on the availability of the relevant service.
The aluminium-alloy enclosure has a brushed-metal front panel and a large LED display.
