Controls and initial setup
Automatic room correction is provided to adapt bass reproduction to the selected position and the acoustics of the room. Place the subwoofer first, then run the automatic correction process. Once it is complete, assess the result from your usual listening position.
If crossover adjustment is handled by the connected amplifier, set it according to the capabilities of the main speakers. A crossover point that is too high may make the location of the bass source more noticeable. A setting that is too low may leave an audible gap between the subwoofer and the main speakers.

Positioning in the room
Leave clear space in front of the active driver and on both sides of the cabinet. Do not cover the passive radiators with curtains or push them directly against the sides of furniture.
Placing a subwoofer closer to a wall or room corner will generally increase bass output. Begin slightly away from the corner and adjust the position gradually. Judge the final result from your normal seating position. Run room correction again whenever the subwoofer is moved.
