TAD ST2 TX Speaker Stands

TAD ST2 TX speaker stands are designed for TAD CE1TX speakers. They are sold only as a pair, so one set provides a stand for each of two CE1TX speakers. The set also includes the parts needed to assemble the stands and fasten the speakers to them.

When choosing stands, consider both their dimensions and the number of CE1TX speakers you intend to place. One pair serves two speakers. If your system uses more, plan the number of sets around the need for one stand per speaker. Before ordering, check that both intended positions have enough room and that you will be able to reach the speakers comfortably during installation.

Space for the speakers

Allow for the width and depth of each stand at both positions. The stated height is measured without the spikes attached, so do not treat it as the final installed height if you use the spikes. The listed weight applies to each individual stand, rather than to the complete pair. These distinctions matter when you measure the room and plan how to handle the stands during assembly.

Choose positions for both speakers before assembling the stands. Check that the proposed layout will not obstruct a walkway, a door or access to other equipment. If a cabinet or alcove limits the available space, allow room for the speaker itself and for the work of fastening it in place, as well as for the stand’s stated outline. Measure both positions first, then adjust the final layout to suit your listening position and the conditions in your room.

If your amplifier or home cinema equipment offers channel level, balance or other controls, the appropriate choices depend on the whole system and the listening position. A pair of stands suits a layout with two CE1TX speakers serving the left and right stereo channels. If CE1TX speakers serve as the front channels of a home cinema system, plan on one stand for each of those speakers as well. This is a set of speaker stands; CE1TX speakers are not included.

For stereo listening, choose the left and right speaker positions first, then confirm that each position has sufficient floor space for a stand. In a home cinema layout, you can plan the two front-channel CE1TX speakers in the same way, adjusting their final positions in relation to the screen and listening position. If you use more than two CE1TX speakers, count the stands needed for all their intended positions. Each pair you purchase provides two positions.
