A three-stage Inverted Darlington Amplifier drives high current signals with minimal distortion, so your content is just as clear and strong as the artists intended. Thanks to patented DIDRC circuitry (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry), the Onkyo A-50 delivers a vivid yet smooth and comfortable sound from any musical source. DIDRC’s high slew-rate design reduces noise generated in very high frequency bands of digital sources, resulting in cleaner, clearer audio.

A 5mm-thick extruded aluminum front panel increases rigidity and suppresses vibration, combined with an oval chassis, fan-less design, premium stereo DAC (32-bit/768kHz), and high-quality 10000uF capacitors custom-made exclusively for Onkyo.

Hardwire your turntable, plug in your CD player, and stream your songs with ease thanks to the Onkyo A-50’s many connectivity options. With 3 pairs RCA, HDMI ARC, MM/MC phono, coax, USB-A, optical, and headphone output, you have all the flexibility.

The A-50 comes with built-in Dirac Live Room Correction Suite Stereo — with frequency response correction (Limited: 20–500Hz / Full version: full bandwidth, requires license purchase) — elevating your listening experience by taking your unique system and room setup into account.
